Game 5 Player Of The Game

(AP photo)

The Redskins offense struggled well into the  second quarter of today’s game against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. Finally, outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan tipped a Matt Ryan pass and ran 28 yards untouched into the end zone for the game’s first score, giving the Redskins a 7-0 lead roughly nine minutes to go in the first half. As you may already have known, the Redskins went on to lose the game 17-24.

This is Ryan Kerrigan's second interception for touchdown in his second NFL season. He had one last year. He got the scoring started and so  Ryan Kerrigan is the  player of the game.
